Mm, mm, good
My girls! This week, Girls' Night is at 8pm on Wednesday (the 1st) and not on Thursday because I am going to Treehaven to fulfill a 1-credit Wellness class. The theme of our Girls' Night thus far has been suffering...basically, why it exists. We've barely skimmed the surface so far, and just in studying it more myself, I have a greater understanding of pain and how to deal with it by learning how God works with it. So you can imagine how anxious I am to go at it with you ladies! If you'd like, you can get a head start this week by looking at 2 Corinthians 12. Save room for some pizza on Wednesday night, too!
This Sunday's (the 5th) meeting will take place in the Burroughs TV Lounge at 7.07pm (same time). We're featuring (drum roll, please) ... the Enneagram! Haven't heard of it? Well, you're in for a treat! In addition, it'll be a game night of sorts. So, if you have a good game available, bring it along. We also have a lot of flour waiting to be ...used. So, what do you say for another round of flour fighting? Little grabs included. (We'll explain later).
Remember, we're having our movie night on Tuesday night and meeting outside Debot at 7:30pm to convoy to Ty's. Then, E&P (eat and pray) is on Wednesday at 5pm. If you live off-campus, we can easily cover you for the cost of dinner. (Let us know you're coming to give us that heads up, though).
Keep in mind that Election Day is coming up: Nov. 7th. It's a Tuesday, so it's conveniently our move night. Therefore, we'll meet one hour earlier on the 7th, at 6:30pm outside Debot, to go and vote together. Then it'll be movie time! Check the blog for articles about candidates/issues or let us know (i.e. leave a comment on this entry) of something you've found so we can share it. We need to VOTE!!
