Eventing
Bridal Shower! It's for Meg, Brent's amazing finance, and Mrs. Sirvio (Brent's mom) wants to make sure all the XA girls (even those who haven't met Brent or Meg) feel welcommed. (I'm so excited)! It's on Saturday, the 14th, at 10am. We'll meet outside Debot at 9:30am and convoy to the party.
Halloween! Costume party/pumpkin carving contest/scarey, cheesey movies/ghost stories/ect. It'll be on the evening of the 28th at Seth's (great XA alumni who just graduated) house in Point. Invitations will be available soon.
In case anyone is interested, there's a forum taking place about the Marriage Amendment. It's on the 18th at 7pm in room 221 of the NFAC. Also, on the 23rd, there is a speaker with a presentation entitled, "the subversive memory of Jesus as the prophetic figure." Sounds interesting; I may go. It's at 7:30pm in room 101 of the CCC.
Hurricane Katrina. ACT (Association of Community Tasks) is taking thirty students to New Orleans for relief work this Spring Break. If you are interested, let me know asap because spots will go quickly.
You guys rock. Chi Alpha is beginning to take on a life of it's own...isn't it great to see God at work?? Mmm, soak it in.
