Movie Night update

We're changing the Movie Night times for this week! It's beginning earlier because we're watching back-to-back movies tonight. So, instead of meeting outside Debot at 7:30pm, please be there by 6:30pm. The lovely MaryEllen has also offered to pick up some people at 9pm, too, in case you only want to see the second movie. We'll see you then!

It was great to be back with all of you. Looking forward to doing this again, every week.

For whom will you be the representation of the crucified Christ this week?

T, Minus 3, 2, 1...

Hey y'all! Tonight's meeting is one I've been looking forward to for two weeks now! Brent (many of you probably remember to him, he came to Perkins with us a few weeks back) has arrived early in Wisconsin (with his lovely finance, Meg) to speak to us tonight. In addition, Seth, a good friend to many of us and the music-coordinator-guy of Chi Alpha for a couple years will be playing for us tonight. Then, we're flour-fighting it up! Last one until after winter!! Following that, we'll grace Marvin's (classic college 24-hour restaurant) with our flour-filled presence and have stupid fun together.

Do you now see why this night is something to be excited about!?! It'll be great to see most of you again, as you know it's tough to see everyone as much as you want to throughout the week. So, remember to bring your Bible (we have some if you'd like one), extra clothes for the flour fight, some extra moolah for Marvin's and a friend! I look forward to seeing you later.

For both the Ladies and Gents

It's Thursday, the 16th, and you know what that means...Girls' Night! It's at 8pm in my dorm, 223 Burroughs. I'm really looking forward to digging more into the subject of suffering with you ladies tonight. It'll also be great to hear about how you've been doing and to exchange our stories. Of course, we'll be doing it over some tea and cookie dough brownies. Please feel free to bring a friend! Suffering is something we all cope with, so it's great to have the opportunity to face it, like we do on our Thursday nights. And who can beat our company, really??

Also, about those SALT registration forms! I know we said they were due at the beginning of December, but we recently learned that we need to work out some funding arrangements ahead of time. So, we need your registration forms by this weekend, ideally. If you can't make it to Chi Alpha this Sunday (BRENT'S COMING TO SPEAK!!) to hand it in, just let one of the leaders know and we'll work something out to get it. If you have a few questions about SALT, please look around National Chi Alpha's website. You can begin with this link: http://www.chialphamn.org/salt.htm, it's the direct link to this awesome conference. Please seriously consider going to this, Wonderfuls. It's very, very worth it.

For the Brides

Just a reminder: tonight we're having our Girls' Night! At the dorm: 223 Burroughs at 8pm. For the past few weeks, we've been on the subject of suffering. I'm really looking forward to spending some great time with you ladies and digging into this tough issue of pain...it's always so worth it, don't you think? I hope you'll make some time for it. Give me a ring at my dorm, x2506, if you need anything regarding tonight. I'll see you tonight!

Students- We hope that you recognize the importance of voting and exercise your right to do so. It only takes a small amount of time to have your voice heard.

Students can swing an entire election. The race for governor in Wisconsin and other issues are some of the most closely contested races in the country! Politicians never expect students to be a large part in the decision-making process… let’s prove them wrong next Tuesday, NOVEMBER 7TH by voting!

If you have any questions at all or if SGA can be of further assistance please let us know.
